Hi. My name is Jamie and I am from Dallas, Texas. I want to share with everyone how I fixed my frizzy hair problem once and for all with just 2 products I combined together. I know what you must be thinking. You’re probably thinking; how can she do that with just two products when I have to use many products to get my hair straight like she claims her’s does.

The truth is I use just one tool and one chemical solution, that’s all to achieve my great results and that’s why it’s so excited to tell you about it! Now I want to share with all the hair enthusiasts out there how I got the job done with only my CHI straightener and my CHI silk infusion product.

Getting unruly, frizzy hair to lay straight is hard for everyone including me, but I hope by sharing my story some of you will get inspired and realize that you too can achieve great results with the right tools. I will tell you my full story the good, the bad and the ugly and show you how I got through all of it to achieve perfect pin straight hair.

When I first started out A CHI Straightener Was Not In The Picture

I’ve always struggled in one way or the other with frizzy hair, unruly fly ways and heat damaged hair. You see I have thick naturally curly hair that I have struggled with all my life. In the beginning I lived my life in total ignorance not knowing which combination products (best straightener) to apply to fix my problem.

I started out purchasing cheap; less than $30 dollars (and I won’t even mention the brand here because I would be too embarrassed) straightening irons that were made of materials other than ceramics and those materials quickly chipped and flaked off. My cheap embarrassing little flat iron seemed to come apart very quickly and would often display it’s bad little attitude by pulling, biting and heat damaging my hair. And I wanted to be just like any other woman who feels good about the way she looks and the way her hair is done at least to some level that I could live with.

Not having my hair the way I wanted it begin to affect my self-esteem at work and with my friends I noticed that I became more and more timid and self-conscious. While at a restaurant with my friends I would go to the restroom and look in the mirror at my hair and I would feel like just crying right there. I think there a lot of women out there that know just what I’m talking about the feeling of knowing that your hair can’t compete and doesn’t look right when compared to some other women that just seem to have that salon look that you don’t have.

I just wouldn’t make the investment

There was always this little voice inside of me telling me that I should make the investment and buy an improved grade ceramic hair straightener but on a fixed income and spending $100 or more on a hair straightener just didn’t seem doable.

So like anyone else clouded in ignorance I kept buying cheaper drugs store type models every 3 months or so believing what the advertisements say on the package and later finding out that they just did not live up to the bill. This frustration continued for some time and I found myself sinking deeper and deeper into a state of depression and I felt that my problem hair would rule and do whatever it wanted to me for the rest of my life.

The day my life changed

My cousin Tammy, who has great hair by the way; always had a CHI original flat Iron that she purchased a few years ago when she was attending college at Baylor University. And I can remember the times when I visited her and I would see the straightener on her vanity countertop. In spite of all that (great hair + the best hair straightener) I could never make the connection that this was one of the main tools that she used to get the straight Jennifer Aniston look that I had always wanted.

I know you must be thinking you dummy why don’t you just ask her what she uses to get the look she gets! Well I thought about that but you have to understand that she is like a sister to me and sometimes siblings can be very competitive and would rather figure things out on their own than asking a rival for help; so I never did. But I am not a complete dummy and about six weeks ago I decided to give Tammy a run for her money as I thought to myself”if she can do it, I can do it better”so I basically copied her.

I went online and searched for CHI ceramic straighteners, I went to eBay (but I don’t trust the condition that people promise and I don’t like to buy used products anyway) then I found this site called Folica that claims to be the largest beauty supply on the Internet. After going to the CHI section I had to make a choice, do I buy the same CHI original straightener that Tammy has a do I get one better; well you probably can easily guess I’m going to out do her I had to get one better.

So I bought the new CHI ceramic flat iron 1″  inch their original flagship model. I said to myself if I’m gonna make the investment I might as well get one with all the bells and whistles I can. The original price of $200 was a little hard to swallow but I was able to get it on sale for $109.99 plus free shipping and I must say at that price I was very happy. I also ordered the recommended CHI silk infusion hair protectant with my straightener because everyone said it worked well with CHI irons.

My CHI Straightener Results

After I ordered my CHI straightener online it arrived at my house three days later. When I opened the box I noticed it felt better in my hand than my cheap flat iron and that it had a heavy duty electrical cord and adjustable temperature control.

I took a shower that same night towel dried my hair and touched it up with my blow dryer; I then powered up my straightener, I noticed that it heated up very quickly much faster than my other flat iron. As I pulled the iron through my hair it glided as smooth as silk and the 1″ inch ceramic plates made fast work of my hair in half the time of my old iron. In less than 15 minutes (and I have thick shoulder length hair) I had stick straight hair with no frizz or split ends and when I looked in the mirror all I could do was smile.

In most cases the straight results can last for days before I half to re-straighten and when I use the CHI infusion treatment it adds luster and shine to my hair. As I continue to use it I notice that it really improves my hair’s strength and manageability. My only regret was that I bought the 2 ounce bottle to try out instead of the 6 ounce bottle.

So now I can officially say I found my “CHI” and I’m a CHI fan and happy user for life.

I recently purchased the CHI flat iron (2″) and it is fabulous! I have long hair and I have searched and searched for a flat iron that really delivers what they promise and I finally found it with the CHI. I have purchased 2 other flat irons and none of them compare to the it. I use to go to my hair stylist to get that straight hair look (with his flat iron) that stays but I no longer have to visit my stylist ever since I purchased the one. This is the best flat iron ever!!!! It only took me about 30 minutes to straighten my hair. I have tried so many other brands: Solia, Hottools, and Conair. None of them worked. This is definately my favorite!!!!! I use it everyday!!! BUY THIS FLAT IRON!!!!
